What type of information we retain
We obtain information about our:
- Employees, when they initially apply for positions in the company and for additional security and screening checks.
- Clients, when they make an enquiry for our services and ongoing through the term of the contract services provided.
How we get the information and why we have it
The personal information we collect is usually limited to name, postal address, email address and telephone number(s). This is obtained via our website, on the phone or by email.
What we do with the information
We may use this information to:
- Process an application for employment (including those required for security screening checks current at the time of application) and ongoing through employment for pensions, personal taxation, private healthcare and the like.
- Process enquiries and orders from our clients.
- Carry out obligations arising from any contracts entered into.
- Deal with system users in relation to installed and serviced/maintained systems.
- Notify of service, maintenance and reactive call-out visits via email and telephone.
- Send information which has been requested. This may include information about terms and conditions, system installations, maintenance, monitoring and the like.
- Send invoices, contracts and other required correspondence.
How we store your information
We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory or regulatory obligations (for example, screening records are retained for the term of employment plus 7 years).
We only keep data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access, you can ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification, you can ask us to correct information you think is inaccurate, or to complete information you think is incomplete.
- Your right to erasure, you can ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to restrict processing, you can ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
- Your right to object to processing, you can object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Your right to data portability, you can ask us to transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@antronsecurity.co.uk.
We may, in appropriate cases and where required by law, pass your data to the police or similar organisations such as law enforcement agencies (including fraud prevention and detection) or other governmental agencies. We do not share information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We keep our use of them to a minimum:
- Essential cookies, set by our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) to keep the site secure, available and performing well. These are required for the site to function.
- Your preferences, we use your browser's local storage to remember choices such as light or dark display mode. This stays on your device and is not shared.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
Third-party services we use
A small number of trusted services help us run this website:
- Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider. Its Turnstile anti-bot check runs on our contact form to block automated spam.
- Resend, the service that delivers website enquiry and newsletter emails to us. Details you submit through our forms (such as your name, email address, phone number and message) are processed by Resend solely to deliver that email to us.
- Carto / OpenStreetMap, which supply the tiles for the office map on our contact page. Your browser requests these tiles directly, so these providers receive your IP address when you view that page.
None of these services are used to track you, we do not share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.
