Project Overview
Arden University's Nottingham campus needed controlled entry at reception without compromising a distinctive, newly fitted front of house. We installed a bank of optical speedgates in brushed stainless steel with glass swing wings, positioned to manage the full flow of students, staff and visitors from the entrance doors into the building. The gate line was set out around the reception's barrel vaulted ceiling, terrazzo and timber flooring and living moss wall, keeping sight lines open while requiring authorised credentials at every entry point.
Systems Installed
- Speedgates: Optical speedgates in brushed stainless steel with glass swing wings, arranged as a multi lane bank including generous lane widths for step free access.
Project Highlights
- A bank of brushed stainless steel optical speedgates with glass swing wings, controlling entry from the campus reception.
- Installed sympathetically within a striking barrel vaulted reception space with a living moss wall, the gate line sits cleanly against the architecture rather than fighting it.
- Delivered in partnership with Loop Local, extending our speedgate work beyond London and underlining our UK-wide delivery.
